Working remotely allows me to setup my perfect home office, but the world beckons and with the right mobile setup I can answer the call and my work calls at the same time! If you want to check out any of these cool devices use my Amazon links so I can earn a commission.
I’ve got the power
Having the right power source keeps my work devices charged and if I want to be mobile I have to ditch the large power bricks and find options that fit my carry style. With the Anker USB C 735 charger I can power my computer, tablet, and headset and I also keep the Anker USB C 511 nano charger around to power my phone if I need an extra USB C port. Both of these charges have much smaller form factors than similar chargers providing the same amount of power.
The right headspace
Whether I need to be on the phone or just need to shut out the outside world, the right headphones are essential for working remotely on the go. I used many headphones before settling on the 2nd generation AirPods Pro for quickly connecting to my phone for calls and music as well as the Jabra Evolve2 75 headset for when it’s loud and I have work calls. The Jabra Evolve2s do an amazing job of providing great sound while not picking up the sounds around you like sipping latte and taking clear calls at Portal Coffee in San Diego while the cafe bustles around me with baristas grinding and steaming away along with other chatter from my fellow coffee lovers.
Keeping my head up
When I’m working on a laptop it is easy to crunch over the screen but with the Roost laptop stand, Apple Magic Keyboard, and Apple Magic Mouse I can keep my posture right and not be a hunch back. The Studio Neat Canopy keyboard cover and iPad stand keeps my keyboard nice in transit and props up the iPad as a second screen if I need it. The Roost stand folds up real nice and sets up quickly to make it worth carrying even when I’m not going to be stationary long.
