December 24: Christmas Eve!
David was off work today, so we decided to eat bowls of cereal for breakfast and try to go out for a hike early in the morning.
We waited until the rain cleared up, and got ready to go. On the way out to the trails, we passed through water on the road — which we have never seen before. When we got to the trailhead, there was a gushing flow of water right at the beginning of the trail with very strong winds.
We decided not to go on a hike, or at least try going later. Instead, we made a trip to the vegan grocery store in Las Vegas, Veg-in-out, and we bought vegan candies, a vegan snickerdoodle cookie mix, a caramel sauce, peppermint marshmallows, and an everything bagel flavored Miyokos cream cheese.
We came home, and I took a nap while David played video games. Then we ate lunch and went for a walk together near our home. After the walk, we made snickerdoodles and confetti pop cookies with the Christmas blend coffee we love from a roasterie in Kansas City.
We watched Christmas movies, had snacks for dinner, and went for an evening walk. We finished the night watching more shows and David gave me lots of massages.
And another day passes by. đŸ™‚
