In Las Vegas, there are so many amazing places to see. That said, it is not always easy to find places that are extremely stroller or wheelchair friendly in any place you visit or live. This guide to a full day of activities in Las Vegas is perfect for new families that need to use a stroller or for anyone who is wanting to see amazing places in Las Vegas and uses a wheelchair. Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs

Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is a wonderful state park in the northwest corner of Las Vegas. The park really provides a surprise for out-of-town guests, because there is so much natural water here. The park has a natural spring with water year-round, lots of ducks and birds, picnic tables and sidewalks throughout, an old “divorce ranch” and PEACOCKS!

Head to Brunch or Lunch in the Arts District at Vegas Vegan Culinary School or Tacotarian

Moving toward the Arts District for brunch or lunch after walking around the park, we suggest heading to lunch at Vegas Vegan Culinary School or Tacotarian. Of the two, Vegas Vegan Culinary School seems more stroller/wheelchair friendly. They have a very spacious outdoor seating area, that always seems to be cool regardless of the outside temperatures. We have always had so much room to maneuver our large stroller, and being outside seems to help the baby stay more relaxed.

Stroll the streets of the Arts District to see the artwork and peruse one-of-a-kind shops

After brunch or lunch, the Arts District has so much art along the buildings to walk around and admire. There are a ton of unique vintage shops and more to explore as well.

Grab a cup of coffee

In the Arts District, there are a few very good coffee shops — Vesta Coffee Roasters and Golden Fog. If you like having an afternoon coffee, these two stops will work great! Plus, Golden Fog usually has a few vegan treats if you’re looking for something sweet.

Head to Calico Basin of Red Rock Canyon National Preserve, and hike Red Springs (stroller and wheelchair friendly)

It would not be a true trip out to Las Vegas (in our opinion) without a stop out to Red Rock Canyon National Preserve. If you head to the Calico Basin area, there is a parking lot and area called Red Springs. From there, you can enjoy a nice .5 mile boardwalk loop in the beautiful scenery.

Stop into the Visitor’s Center of the Scenic Loop

If you want to take a look at more of what is in Red Rock, you can head to the Visitor’s Center of the Scenic Loop. From here, you can walk out of the back side of the visitor’s center and explore different signs, see if the tortoises are out, and enjoy the gorgeous surrounding views. This visitor’s center also has one of the nicest gift shops, full of local art and talent. We love making a quick stop to the Visitor’s Center, because you do not have to do the entire 13 mile one-way loop. I mean, who wants to add an extra 30 minutes of driving when you have little ones in the car?

Grab a quick dinner at Plant Power Fast Food

Plant Power is an all-vegan fast food place, and is unique to Southern California and Las Vegas currently. Check it out for the novelty of the concept, really good food, amazing fries, and super quick service. We have learned that getting our food fast and being out of the restaurant in a short amount of time helps with keeping the kiddos in a good mood.
