On a road trip to Tucson, we had a short stop in Phoenix, Arizona and discovered this magnificent neighborhood with beautiful, historic houses AND so many vegan options in walking distance!
The neighborhood is the Coronado district, and it is well known for their historic homes, which make for such happy walks. We loved our airbnb here, and went on a few walks around the neighborhood and to every restaurant listed here. There are at least three vegan restaurants within walking distance and one ice cream place. Here is where we were able to dine during our stay:
- Dinner at Giving Tree Cafe
This is an organic and health/plant forward cafe that was so refreshing to find when you’re eating out on a trip. The owner even came up to talk to us and asked us about our trip and how we were liking the meal! - Ice cream from Nami
Such amazing flavor combinations on their ice cream, and it is all vegan! - Breakfast at Coronado
This was truly the gem of our entire trip, because it was such a treat. There was such an original flavor and menu here, and everything is made from scratch. We also had lattes that were the best ones on our entire trip. It was touching as well that the owner here also came to talk to us about our meal.
