Indianapolis is a popular location for different conferences, sports events, and our former home town for many years. It may not seem like a destination for vegan dining, but truly, they have some of the most delicious vegan menu items we’ve ever eaten. After years of research, here are the Rose Family picks for restaurant eating while you stay in the circle city.

  • Three Carrots — It would be a crime to not include this all-vegan, homey comfort, made-from-scratch restaurant. When we worked downtown, we would have Three Carrots for lunch on Fridays every week! There is not a single menu item that will fail you, so go with your gut on ordering here!
  • King Dough — Pizza lovers (aka humans) must make a visit here. They have a vegan cashew ricotta for their pizzas that is divine. Then, the pizza crust is so perfect, and they even have a gluten free pizza dough that is remarkable.
  • Blue Sushi Saki Grill — With a full vegan sushi menu that has the most unique takes and fusion flavor combos, this place has such a special spot in our hearts. They have a happy hour on sushi during the afternoons and all-day Sunday too! I miss this place whenever I have a sushi craving.
